Join Leigh and Jessica, for a deep dive into the art and craft of sacred gourd carving, bringing together spirit and plant into a potent container.
The morning begins, with an introduction to the spirit of the dragon in Asian culture. We will be meditating, drawing and moving dragon energy. No previous experience necessary.
In the afternoon, we will take our designs and learn to carve, burn, or paint them on to the gourds.
Gourds have sacred meaning in Asian cultures, representing the womb, the origin, and are a powerful prosperity symbol and form of energetic protection.
Tuition includes gourd + delicious homemade lunch!
