As Artificial Intelligence brings our mental processes into deep collaboration with technology where are the boundaries between mind and machine? Join artist, meditator, and insatiably curious seeker Jessica Kung Dreyfus for a deep dive into the past, present, and future of consciousness. We will focus particularly on the intersections of technology and intelligence. We will examine the creation of culture as the evolution of the relationship between humans and what they make.

Using a myriad of contemplative and creative tools, the month long journey will bring together diverse cultures, traditions, and disciplines. We will access the meditative lineages of the Buddhist tradition and Yogic tradition, the qi gong of the Taoist tradition, and the philosophical traditions of the West from Plato to Phenomenology. We will dive into scholarly texts, existential questions, and mathematical paradigms in an accessible and delightful play of inquiry and critique.
The course is partially online and partially in person. You can join for either or both sections. The online experience will be primarily geared towards meditation and theory.
The in person retreat will be practical and hands on. We will create a “Nolli plan” of your mind. We will examine the transformations of the public/private space of your mental real estate along with tools to develop a collaborative relationship with technology that empowers your creative and intuitive faculties of attention.

Her focused gaze and the powerful containers that her work creates are influenced by her multi-cultural methodology for transformation, her deep-seated belief in the goodness of humanity, and her 450 day silent meditation retreat from 2010-2012.
Born in New York, NY and working in San Francisco, CA, Jessica received her BA cum laude in Architecture from Yale University and her MFA from California College of the Arts.
